All Metrorail services in KwaZulu-Natal have been suspended indefinitely.
The Passenger Rail Agency of South Africa (Prasa) says it’s forced to do this because of widespread vandalism.
On Friday, four cars were torched and station buildings vandalised in uMlazi, Durban.
The Railway Agency will have to cough up over R8-million after angry commuters vandalised the train station.
Provincial Prasa spokesperson Zama Nomnganga says staff and drivers have been left traumatised by the attacks.
Prasa is expected to hold a meeting on Monday to decide on the way forward.
So burning a resource helps u when it’s gone it’s gone. Do you think Prasa has the budget to replace it

I know the struggle of train from Pretoria to Jozi ziyabuya Prasa doesn't care about commuters…….And I don't believe it was 10 minutes delay….They must be tired of delays
