Every country has some kings and queens positively representing the nation that they come from at other countries, and amongst South Africa’s many loved celebrities abroad, we have our very own Terry Pheto who remains in a league of her own as she polishes her global brand straight outta Mzansi.
Born and raised in Sebokeng, the award-winning actress gained much success after her leading role as Miriam in 2005’s Oscar-winning feature film Tsotsi.
And over the years Terry has starred and produced several films and drama series including the Bold and Beautiful, Isibaya, Zone 14 and Madiba as Winnie Madikizela Mandela.

Born on May 11, 1981, the hardworking actress has received several accolades for portraying different roles with the utmost brilliance including Best Actress Award for her role in a United Kingdom at the International Achievement Awards as well as the Black Reel Award nomination alongside big names like Oprah.
Through rubbing shoulders with some international film greats like Idris Elba and David Oyelowo, Terry’s prowess as the leading lady of a film in Africa continues being sharpened by some of the best names in the game.
