The Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) wants the Public Protector to investigate Minister of Public Enterprises Pravin Gordhan.
This after Gordhan’s submissions to the state capture inquiry were leaked.
EFF alleges that Gordhan had lied in 2016 when he told Parliament that “he had never attended any meetings with Gupta family or anyone else at their Saxonwold Estate”.

According to the report Gordhan met one of the Gupta brothers at least once.
The minister is due to appear before the state capture inquiry next week.
