Queen of Soul’ Aretha Franklin died on Thursday at the age of 76 following an illness.
Franklin is known for hit songs like ‘respect’ and ‘chain of fools’
The singer won 18 Grammys and had 25 gold records.
Franklin, who was diagnosed with cancer in 2010, last performed in November 2017 for the Elton John AIDS Foundation in New York. Her final public performance was in Philadelphia in August 2017.

While the performance riveted onlookers, Franklin later went on to tell then-CNN host Larry King that she was not pleased with her singing. She said the cold weather affected her voice.
