It seems singer Ed Sheeran has secretly married his fiancée, Cherry Seaborn!
The 27-year-old, who’s known for being quite private, might just have pulled off his biggest stealth move yet.
The Happier hitmaker seems to have confirmed he married his girlfriend just seven months after publicly confirming their engagement.
During an interview with Access Online on Monday, the interviewer asked Ed about wedding details and whether the happy couple had picked a date yet.
Ed blushed, shrugged and then pointed to a silver ring on his ring finger.
The interviewer – who took his response as a confirmation that he’d married Cherry (26) – said: “Alright, that’s exciting! Congratulations my friend. How did you sneak that one?”
“Well, I never really do anything too public anyway,” the singer replied.
The pop star got engaged in late 2017, and Ed shared the news with his fans in January in a rare romantic Instagram post.
Ed and Cherry both attended Thomas Mills High in Suffolk, England, and are believed to have started dating in 2015, but have kept their relationship relatively private, Metro UK reports.
Cherry moved to North Carolina to attend Duke University but moved back to the UK to be with her beau in December 2016. She has a degree in molecular biology and works as a risk advisory consultant at accounting firm Deloitte.
Although Ed didn’t specifically confirm they’ve tied the knot, it’s a pretty strong hint!
