Pravin Gordhan

Just days before Public Enterprises Minister Pravin Gordhan appears before the state capture commission, a SAFTU-affiliated union claims to be possession of evidence that implicates him in corruption.

The Academics Processional Staff Association (Apsa) plans to take the evidence to the state capture commission in the next two weeks.

The allegations relate to SARS’ purchase of the Interfront IT company and a tender awarded to Accenture while Gordhan was commissioner.

But, the timing of the latest revelation’s been questioned, following the public protector’s subpoena and the EFF’s frontal attack.
