Kessie Nair, the man who attacked President Cyril Ramaphosa in a Facebook post, is back in court on Monday.
Nair referred to Ramaphosa using the k-word.He faces a charge of crimen injuria.His family claims he suffers from a mental disorder.
Last week, the prosecutor referred Nair for mental observation based on affidavits received from his family.
The district surgeon who examined him said he is delusional.
The state wants to be certain that he can understand court proceedings before he can launch a bail application.
