The 25th International Aids Conference gets underway in Munich, Germany today. The conference brings together government officials, civil society, scientists and those affected by HIV and Aids.
The UNAIDS will release a comprehensive report on the impact of AIDS in different countries.
She says, “If the latest technology for prevention and treatment are shared, the success can be achieved. The report has shown that new infections have been declining fastest in the Sub-Saharan Africa. In South Africa, new infections are today less than half of what they were in 2010.

Shauwn Mkhize faced widespread criticism from social media users following an assassination attempt on Coreth Naudé, a senior advocate at the South African Revenue Service (SARS). Naudé was shot three times shortly after leaving a tax inquiry involving Mkhize on July 18th. She is currently in intensive care, and the incident, which occurred near Gateway shopping center, is being investigated with the perpetrator still at large.
