Items that belong to a person that has passed on are usually treasured, even more if they belonged to a revered well-known celebrity such as a Sfiso Ncwane.
The year 2016 saw the nation bid farewell to one of its musical talents, Sfiso Ncwane. This gospel giant had worked tirelessly to cement his name in the world of music. However, the latest reports have implied that his legacy has been tempered with after his home was vandalised in Adams Mission, Durban.
According to Ilanga Langesonto, it seems the late gospel singer’s home has turned into a crime hotspot, as criminals have helped themselves to the late artist’s belongings including windows, tiles, doors and bricks.
This newspaper also reported that Adams Mission’s chief, Mbongeni Makhanya confirmed that Sfiso does have a house in the area. However, they can’t do much about its horrid conditions as they’re reportedly waiting for his wife, Ayanda Ncwane, to decide on the way forward
With such news coming out, one wonders how some people sleep at night. It is sad to know that Sfiso’s hard work has been reduced to nothing. Hopefully his family will come forward and find a solution for the house.
