Motorists are expected to get some relief after eight months of fuel price hikes, with the petrol price expected to drop or stay the same in November.
However, the possible decrease will save you less than R2 a tank of petrol.
A litre of petrol has spiked by more than that since the beginning of the year.
Data from the Central Energy Fund suggests the price might drop by three cents a litre in November.
That would amount to R1.50 less for a 50-litre tank.
The news for users of diesel is worse: the price might rise by as much as 35 cents a litre next month.
