The former Generations: The Legacy actor announced in early November that he had left the soapie “to take my musical journey to another level”. Something a lot of people called on him to reconsider as his music video for the song, Umsindo, began to make the rounds.
I left GenerationsTheLegacy because I felt like I need to take my musical journey to another level.

Despite the hate, he has forged on with his music. Even claiming that South Africa “doesn’t understand art.”

And it would seem that he’s correct, because on Thursday he announced that his song had gone platinum after selling over 40,000 copies.
After 3 years this year we went platinum.
