Members of the ANC led-coalition expressed their confidence in Masina, but the DA believes not everyone is on board.
A secret vote could just aid the DA.
The 25 votes would push the ANC coalition below the 113 vote threshold needed to defeat the motion.
The EFF, which has 25 seats, is mum about their strategy.
Masina instructed the ANC caucus to “be disciplined, follow the debate, and vote correctly”.
