According to a source, Ndoro, who has been training with the Absa Premiership returnees, has penned a deal with the Lions of the North. KickOff.com has been informed that Highlands Park has completed the signing of former Orlando Pirates striker Tendai Ndoro, with coach Owen da Gama non-committal on the matter.
“He has signed,” says the source. Contacted for comment, Da Gama would only say the Zimbabwean hitman will be discussed in a meeting with management today. “Ja, I think we are having a meeting now at 12 O’clock, then I will be able to give feedback after that.”
Ndoro left Ajax Cape Town in the off-season, having been at the centre of a registration storm last term, which saw the club being docked points and ultimately relegated to the National First Division. The PSL penalised Ajax for fielding Ndoro when he had already played for two clubs in the same season, with FIFA rules not permitting him to turn out for a third side.
