Katlego Danke could not hide her glee after meeting The Bold and The Beautiful actress Katherine Kelly Lang on Isidingo last week. The former Generations actress shared her happiness on Insta and captioned the picture with such an interesting message while reflecting on her days on Generations.
Katlego tweeted: “Yesterday things! ‘Dineo Mashaba’ finally got to meet ‘Brooke Logan’- this moment was ten years in the making. Lol. But what an honour to finally meet @katherinekellyl and work on a scene…”
Characters Dineo Mashaba and Brooke Logan seem to have a lot in common. The ladies were raised by their mothers, and both rose to power through the men in their lives. Brooke’s life and career changed for the better when she meets Ridge Forrester, and Dineo escalates to power when she marries Kenneth Mashaba.
Their characters also have a flair for affairs, Dineo and Brooke cheat on their husbands with their stepsons. Brooke kissed Thomas, her ex-husband’s son and Dineo also has an affair with Thomas Mashaba, her ex-husband’s son. Their on-screen personas were both villains and disliked by people in their circle as they were conniving.
Brooke worms herself into the Forrester Empire by blackmailing Eric and Dineo tries to kill Kenneth so that she takes over Mashaba media.
Katlego was expelled from the soapie in 2014 together with 13 other actors after demanding a raise on their allowances. In 2017 she made a comeback as she joined Isidingo, playing the role of feisty businesswoman Kgothalo.
