As part of the country’s child stars list, Dineo Nchabeleng starred in a number of movies from the age of nine including Beat the Drum an international movie production she starred in 2003.
South African actress popularly known for her former role on generations as Angela Mogale is all grown, serving us motherhood goals and a gradually rising career.
The now 26-year-old-actress left Generations in 2007 and for the past 11 years, she has continued to shine with prominent roles on Mzansi Magic’s Ring of Lies, Gold Diggers, Lockdown and many other dramas.
With a degree in political studies, Dineo makes it a point to strategically juggle her acting career, motherhood and education to ensure all-around success.
Although the actress tries to keep a low and clean profile, Dineo was rumoured to be on an addictive drug, call Menopinopi.
She, however, managed to brush off the drug issue as just mere rumours and with a supportive family, the actress survived the difficult times and continues to bag a number of TV roles in local soapies.
I believe it is such sloppy periods in the entertainment industry which has seen Dineo on record saying the entertainment industry can be cruel sometimes hence she would never want her daughter to follow in her footsteps but would rather she focus on something different.
Well, she is in the industry and knows it better than any of us so we can’t blame her decision to protect her daughter from the pursuit of entertainment, just like Black Coffee who also says he doesn’t want his kids to become DJs.
Having also presented on YOTV’s Blue Coach, a current affairs show, Dineo has done voice-overs for commercials like OMO, Coca-Cola, Sanlam and Isuzu to bag some extra rands into her bank account.
Just like many other famous celebrities, Dineo has been a regular on some of the country’s top magazines including True Love and Drum Magazine.
She started young but with each day comes, both public and personal growth for the now grown actress.
