Family, friends and fans of local rapper Linda “ProKid” Mkhize will pay tribute to the musician at a memorial service on Thursday.
Family of Mkhize confirmed the tragic news of his death on Thursday, releasing an official press statement: “He suffered a severe seizure attack. Paramedics were called in to assist. They did their best to revive him to no avail.”
He was 37-years-old.
The artists family revealed the cause of death on Wednesday saying that Mkhize suffered a hemosuccuspancreaticus, which is a rare cause of gastrointestinal bleeding.
The memorial service takes place on Thursday at the Newtown Music Factory from 14:00 to 18:00.
