During an interview on Metro FM recently, the award-winning musician admitted that he’s “in love with love”.
While some people might have decided that love doesn’t exist, others are still hopeful. Despite having failed relationships, Vusi Nova is one of those people who’ll never throw in the towel when it comes to love.
“I keep saying. Naninina [one of his albums] was about my five-and-a-half-year relationship that ended.”
Speaking about the message in his new album titled Manyan-Nyan, Vusi said: “Even though I’ve gone through so much in terms of my romantic relationships, I still believe in love. I’ve dusted myself off and I’m moving forward, there’s no time to move back, there’s no time to look back ndiyaphambili (I’m going forward). I still believe in love.”
It takes a brave heart to give love another try even after being disappointed. There has been quite a bit of curiosity around the singer’s love life. Remember when those rumours about him being romantically involved with Kelly Khumalo were doing the rounds? But it was not true.
Vusi was quick to shut them down, telling ZAlebs back in January this year: “There are people who think that we are dating, she is a very good friend of mine. I’ve known her for a very long time, she’s been instrumental in my very first album ‘cause she introduced me to my producer…”
