Zodwa Wabantu

A new reality TV show is on the cards for controversial dancer Zodwa Wabantu. Cameras will capture the pantyless dancer’s side that many of us have not seen – from spending time with her 6-year-old son to getting cosy with her Ben 10.

Zodwa Wabantu, real name Zodwa Libram (33), told City Press on Friday that she would not be showing people a glamorous life, such as popping French Champagne Moët & Chandon, because that is not who she is.

“I am not fake. What you see is what you get,” she said.

Insiders revealed that Zodwa would be paid R1m for her reality show, which she neither confirmed nor denied, saying her finances were private.

The vosho queen is not bothered by her haters either.

“Whether I smoke snuff, drink beer or I am a prostitute, I still put food on the table every month and I can afford to pay my bills and school fees for my son.

“Weeee! You will see the real me on the show; you will see me right after taking a shower.

“My show will also touch the real issues that many people can relate to, such as borrowing sugar from your neighbours.

Zodwa Wabantu“Even though I am Zodwa Wabantu, I am still human; I am not perfect,” said the bubbly Wabantu.

“No one is perfect, that is why we have artists who have their cars and houses repossessed.

“We cannot pretend everything is perfect, but unfortunately as celebrities sometimes we sell lies to the public. But this is not what my reality show is going to be about.”

She said everyone thinks that Zodwa Wabantu is a druggie, but on the show she is going to set the record straight and her fans are going to be shocked.

Zodwa assured her fans that there would be many surprises in store for them.

“There is something that is going to shock the whole of South Africa; I will be the first woman to do it,” she said.

Does this mean she will proposing to her Ben 10?

“Well, fans will see for themselves.”

Mocuminyane said she pitched Zodwa Wabantu’s TV reality show to Moja Love (DStv 157) because she was motivated by her story.

“Her story gives life to young women, whether it’s good or bad. Growing up in the township myself, I can also relate to Zodwa Wabantu’s story,” said Mocuminyane.
