The foundation, which was started to help poor children go to school, said research conducted recently discovered several cases of teenage pregnancies in schools around Bushbuckridge.

The Creseldah Education Foundation is on a mission to fight teenage pregnancy in Bushbuckridge and surrounding areas. “We launched the project to educate children about s.e.x, pregnancies and other problems.

“We are currently working on developing a cellphone app to alert teenagers to the dangers of engaging in s.e.xual activities at an early age, especially unprotected s.e.x,” said Creseldah Ndlovu.

“The app we are working on will increase the impact of this programme. “Technology is something the youth use every day and we believe it could be helpful to help prevent teen pregnancies.

“The app will include s.e.xual health education, anonymous reporting of s.e.xual @buse and other functions. “We invite anyone willing to work with us to come forward. We will be announcing our brand ambassadors soon.”
