While “fitness bunny” Mpisane recovers from a horrendous car crash in Durban’s St Augustine’s Hospital, Khune took time to participate in a special prayer and workout session in honour of his girlfriend on Sunday.
Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper Itumeleng Khune is proving to be the ultimate bae to Sbahle Mpisane.
Khune was in KwaZulu-Natal and played for Chiefs on Friday night in an Absa Premiership match against Maritzburg United at the Harry Gwala Stadium in Pietermaritzburg. The match ended in a 0-0 draw.
The Amakhosi captain stated on Twitter on Saturday that he was going to visit his “Queeno” Mpisane, and on Sunday, added a poster of a “Workout & Prayer Session” at the UKZN Howard College campus.
The fitness part was conducted by Mpisane’s training partner, Yolanda Sokhela, while former Idols winner Khaya Mthethwa – who is also a pastor – led the prayers.
“Thank you very much to @yolanda_sokhela 4 a great workout and also a BIG shoutout to #UKZN Team for hosting us and making sure that we had a venue to do what @sbahle_mpisane loves lastly to everyone who came through and graced the event with their presence #GODIsGREAT,” Khune tweeted on Monday.
